Show Legion Party On Hallowe'en A Big Success The Hallowe'en Costume Bal!, an annual event , sponsored by the American Legion, Wm. R. Sands Post No. 3, at the" Legion hall, proved to be a social event of the season. Crowds came from all points of the Basin. i Prizes were awarded to Mrs. Lavar Peterson and H. C. Cooper Coop-er for the best costumes, while second prize went to Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Labrum and third prize to Miss Alice Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Denzel Hemo-hill Hemo-hill enjoyed a visit, Sunday, from Mr. Hemphill's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Orr, of Riverton. who came for a day's vacation. Mr. and Mrs. Orr, former Duchesne residents, also visited Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish before returning re-turning home Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Adams went to Provo Sunday for a brief visit at the home of Mv. and Mrs. Bill West, especially to see their niece, Mrs. Bob Elliot, who came from Denver. Colorado to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. West. Mrs. Adams is a sister of Mrs. West. Weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ole Peterson were Mr. and Mrs. Orville Warner, War-ner, of Copperton, who came to attend to their interests here. Mrs. Warner, a former Myton resident, is a sister of Mrs. Peterson. Pet-erson. ' . |
