Show Ellen Bracken Enters Hospital Bra SaSt Lake City Mr. and Mrs. Tom Shisler are spending some time this week in Salt Lake City, where Mr. Shisler Shis-ler is receiving medical care. They left immediately after voting vot-ing on Tuesday. Mr. Shisler planned on entering a hospital there on Wednesday for an operation. op-eration. They are guests of Mrs. Shisler's sister, Mrs. Morgaa Calvert. Mrs. Golden Collins had a quilting party on Wednesda-y. Those nresent were Mrs. Fannie Todd, Vida Betts, Evelyn Brighton, Brigh-ton, Maude Anderson and Ora Hullinger. Jack Allred was employed at Pink and Tony's during deer season. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Betts were visitors at the home of their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Betts, in Tridell last Wednesday. Mrs. Harold Dillman entertained enter-tained a group of ladies at her home in Roosevelt last Thursday Thurs-day at a shower for Mrs. San-ford San-ford Butcher, a recent bride. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Elmer and family, of Ogden, formerly of Ballard, were at Neola on Wednesday to attend the funeral funer-al of Mrs. Elmer's father, Mr. Prescott. Mrs. George Bracken accompanied accom-panied Mr. and Mrs. Duane Bracken, of Roosevelt, to Salt Lake City, where she spent the weekend at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Bracken and Mr. and Mrs. Charles M. Pool. Price, were visitors for a few days at the ranch home of Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Dart. While here they attended to the seed crop being harvested on their property pro-perty on North Myton Bench. Mrs. Del Combs and son, Gary, of' Cowdrey, Colo., and Mrs. Eleanor LaBronte, of Salt Lake City, visited Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish Saturday, when enroute to Duchesne to visit Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart. Mr. and Mrs. Dalgleish joined them Saturday Sat-urday evening at the Hart home for a family visit. Mrs. La-Bronte La-Bronte is a sister of Mrs. Hart and Mrs. Combs, and a former Duchesne resident is Mrs. Hart's niece. Mrs. LaBronte continued on to her home Sunday, white Mrs. Combs and Gary returned to Colorado. Mr. and Mrs. Lavar Peterson returned Thursday from a week's business trip to Salt Lake City and southern Utah. Bill Boren A 3c spent the weekend at the home of Mi . and Mrs., Dave Tanner, coming from Tuscon, Arizona to get his wife, who has been visiting hor parents till housing facilities were available. They left Sunday Sun-day to return to the air base where Bill was recently assigned. |
