Show 13 MIA Girls Get Activity Awards Mrs. Duane Bracken. YWMIA president of Roosevelt Stake Sunday night presented 13 Ioka girls, all active in Mutual Improvement Im-provement Work, special awards for attendance at various church meetings and for activity during dur-ing the year. The awards were made in regular sacrament services to Betty and Partioia Marsh. Jo-lene Jo-lene Robison, Cheryl and LeRae Drollinger, Maurine and Sallv Nelson, Roene and Marcia Lemon, Lem-on, Rosalie Green. Revone Campbell, Nadine and Evelyn Faucett. The Ioka Ward also received a' group citation for the outstanding work of these girls. Speakers in Sacrament meeting meet-ing included Mrs. Bracken President Clifford Drollinger Milo Campbell. Visitors in Sunday School were J. Holman Waters of the General Board, and Jesse Hul-linger, Hul-linger, stake Sunday School superintendent. Visiting in Salt Lake are Mrs. James Lloyd and daughter. Dean, and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Marsh. Vaughn "Bus" Warr was home from Sunnyside, where he is employed, to visit his family over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Benson returned home Friday, after visiting vis-iting several weeks in St. George with Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ken-neth Benson. The Bensons will move soon to Salt Lake City to spend the winter. Mrs. Orvil Dart and Mrs. John Angus returned Wednesday from Salt Lake City. |
