Show II Nevc The Scouting Division of Carter Car-ter Oil Company, Northwest Division, has released the following fol-lowing summary of drilling wells for the week ending November No-vember 20, 1952: ''G. E. Houston No. 1 (located in SE SW, Sec 18-1S-1E) Total depth 10,142 feet, plugged back to 9,760 feet. - Kobe parallel string stuck with bottom of anchor an-chor at 9865 feet and bottom hole assembly at 9529 feet will not move- up or down. Crews preparing to circulate in attempt to free tubing. -Could not run liner below 10,065 feet. Cleaned out and conditioned hole to 10,131 feet, set 5 inch liner 9750 to 10,131 feet. H. A. Peterson No. 1 (located SW SW, Sec. 10-1S-1W) 7-inch casing at 9887 feet. Total depth 10,276 feet. Pulling parallel tuo-ing tuo-ing to repair leak in IV2 inch string. Swabbed 165 barrels oil in ten hours on November 14. On Nov. 15, swabbed 128 barrels bar-rels of oil in 10 hours: swabbed 133 barrels oil in 10 hours. On Nov. 17, swabbed 123 barrels of oil in 10 hours, blowing fluid from 4600-7500 feet. Crews swabbed total of 549 barrels of oil in four days. Whitlock-Taylor No. 1 (located (locat-ed in NW SW Sec. 24-1S-1W) Drilling at 4788 feet. Joseph Smith No. 1 (Plat Mesa Me-sa wildcat well located at center cen-ter of SE SE, Sec-.. 16-3S-5W) Total depth 9103 feet. Set 7 in. at 8913 feet, plugged back depth 8864 feet. Ran Gamma Ray and S.i logs. Preparing to' retest perforations per-forations at 8835 feet. Attempted Attempt-ed a drill-stem test at 8805 feet, tool failed to open. First production pro-duction on Nov. 7: 207 barrels oil in 13 hours. A drill-stem test at 8825-45 feet (split packer) open 105 minutes, had gas to the surface in 17 minutes, burned burn-ed with 8 foot flame, fluid o:'l !o surface in 105 minutes, small amount of mud. then oil. Closed tool overnight. Nov. 14. attempted attempt-ed a drill-stem test with hook Wall tester with straddle packer at 8820. and 8850 feet, stron-J blow immediately. Packer failed in approximately 10 minutes. Nov. 15: Attempted drill-stem test with hook wall tool with packer at 8820 and 8850 Packer failed immediately. Nov. 18: Attempted drill-stem test with formation anchor-type packers at 8814-53 feet. Had slight initial in-itial blow, diminished in 9 minutes min-utes when packers failed. Elmer Moon No. 1 Antelope wildcat well located 50 feet east of center of SW SE, Sec. 8-4S-3W) Plugged back total depth 6571 feet, total depth 8246 feet, 7-inch casing at 6618 feet. Installing In-stalling lease equipment. Orlan L. Johnson No. 1 (Walker Hollow wildcat located in SW SW.'Sec 8-7S-24E) Total depth 5716 feet, plugged back depth 5667 feet. Installing lease equipment. Rig released 11-5-52. Moved out rotary tools on November No-vember 9. v Gloria Bamburger No. 1 (located (lo-cated in SW NE, Sec. 7-7S-24E) Rigging up rotary tools. GE 5565.7 feet.
