Show Notice Of Oil & Gas Mining Lease Sale UNDER SEALED BID, 2:00 P. Each unit is offered for separate sep-arate lease, for a cash bonus in addition to the stipulated royalties and rental of $1.25 per acre per annum. The successful suc-cessful and responsible bidders . for any lease will be required to pay in advance an annual rental of $1.25 per acre, the cost of advertising and a filing fee of $5.00 for each lease contract con-tract consummated. In addition ;to the filing fee, of $5.00 for each lease contract, an additional addition-al fee of 15c per acre will be charged as a processing cost oi making the lease and clerical service attendant thereto. Successful Suc-cessful bidders will be required to deposit such fees in proportion propor-tion to the acreages obtained on their bids and before leases are drawn. A deposit of 20 per cent of the bonus bid and 20 per cent of the advance rental for the first year must accompany accom-pany the bid and be in the form of a certified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent bank, payable to the Treasurer of the United States. Conditional or alternate bids will not be accepted and no drilling propositions will be considered con-sidered as a part of the bonus offer. j The sale will be held and the leases executed in accordances with the Act of March 3, 1909 (35 Stat. 781. 783), the Act of May 11, 1938 (52 Stat. 347), and C.F.R., Title 25-Indians, Part 189 as amended or supplemented, supplement-ed, as to Allotted lands and Part 186 as amended or supplemented, sup-plemented, as to Tribal lands. Lease Form 5-154 h will be used used for the Allotted leases and Form 5-157 will be used for the Tribal leases. In lieu of Section 11 of thj Allotted lease Form 5-154 h and Section 9 of the Tribal lease Form 5-157, the following clause will be inserted in each lease covering land within the Roosevelt Roos-evelt Unit Area: "If the Commissioner Com-missioner of Indian Affairs determines, de-termines, after allowing the lessee not less than 30 days to make any showings he desire., to present, that the leased lands should be committed to the Roosevelt Unit Agreement, the leesee will be required to effect full commitmnt of the leased lands to said unit agreement within 30 days of demand to do so by the Commissioner of Indian In-dian Affairs or suffer the lease to be cancelled and forfeited pursuant to the provisions of Section 6 hereof. Lessor agrees that, in event of commitment of said leased lands to the Roosevelt Roos-evelt Unit Agreement by lessee and acceptance thereof by tha Commissioner, the lessor's roy- -alty interest therein will be deemed committed thereto without with-out requirement of further action ac-tion or signature of the lessor." Bids received on Tribal lands will be referred to the Uintah and Ouray Tribal Business Committee Com-mittee for their recommendation as to acceptance or rejection before be-fore such bids are referred to the Commissioner of Indian Affairs Af-fairs for final action. The Allotted Al-lotted lands are offered subject to the execution of the leases by the adult individual Indian owners. The right is reserved by the Commissioner to reject any or all bids and to disapprove disap-prove any lease made on an accepted ac-cepted bid. Should any bids be rejected after a deposit is made, through no fault of the bidder, all moneys deposited shall be returned. Failure of the successful bidder bid-der to comply with the terms of the sale and the regulations, will render his deposit liable to forfeiture in the discretion oi the Commissioner of Indian At fairs. Leases on Tribal landj; filed after 20 days from date of mailing to lessee for execution will be subject to revaluation of bonus, if permission is not granted for an extension of time. Sales will be cancelled and deposits de-posits forfeited at the expiration expira-tion of the 20-day filing period unless for good and sufficient reason an extension of the filing fil-ing period is granted. The successful suc-cessful bidders on the Allotted lands will be required to secure se-cure the signatures of all Indian In-dian owners. The leases must ba completed and returned together with all supporting papers within with-in 30 days from date of mailing to lessee for execution. An additional ad-ditional period of time will be granted for good and sufficient reason upon request made pric" to the expiration of the original orig-inal 30-day period. The Superintendent Superin-tendent reserves the right, as a condition precedent to the granting grant-ing of any extended period of time for filing a lease, to require re-quire the deposit of any remaining remain-ing sums due and owing on the lease, including the balance of the bonus bid and the first year's rental. The lessee must furnish a satisfactory sat-isfactory surety bond as required re-quired by the regulations.
