The bride-to-be has been spending a few days in town getting acquainted. We'll be happy to welcome her as a permanent resident of Rcos-evelt. Rcos-evelt. VACATION TIME has ended for the Murphys. As a matter of fact it ended with John Paul's breaking out with the measles. They had previously planned a trip to Estes Park (the Standard even printed that they had gone) but it seems John Paul had other ideas. Incidentally, when I vacation time wag up he made a quick recovery. SEEMS to be a race on to sae who gets into their new home first. Heard Stringhams were in the city last week buying a train load of furniture for that lovely big home. Floyd says the carpet layers will be out next Monday to carpet the Ross mansion. The painters are really slinging paint at the Zimmermans. Th? Norman Labrums have purchased purchas-ed the home behind Jordans from Presley expect to move in soon. Mrs. Alice Labrum has already moved into her charming charm-ing little cottage next door to her daughter. Lynn is remodeling remodel-ing his mother's old home and will soon be moving and La-Vere La-Vere and Tudor are buying Lynn's home. With all this moving mov-ing there should be a few house-warming house-warming parties, don't you think? Hope we get invited. EXCITING is the news that comes to us Miss Utah's visit to Roosevelt. Bunny Reese has consented to be our guest on the first U B I C day. Hope she can make it in time for the parade. pa-rade. She will definitely be here for the afternoon session an opportunity for all you 'teenagers 'teen-agers who have aspirations for the coming Miss Utah contest Come and get a few pointers. FAIRYLAND is preparing to take over the town Thursday morning. Signs are incident in most of the homes where costumes cos-tumes are being made for the big July 24 parade. Sev- eral businesses seem to think our tourist trade is greater than ever before. New improvements and paint jobs always make an imDression. BEE HIVE ENCAMPMENT last week was a huge success some 70 girls bore their testimonies testi-monies at very impressive rites Thursday night.
