Show This Week's RECIPE . . . Summer desserts are in demand de-mand now, especially those which require the seasonal fruits. The following was submitted sub-mitted by Mrs. J. V. McLea and is delicious made with raspberries, raspber-ries, which are at their peak now. Raspberry Ice-Cream Parfaii Pie HEAT: 1V4 cups water to boiling. Remove from heat. ADD: 1 package raspber ry jello. Stir until un-til dissolved. ADD: 1 pint ice cream (cut into pieces) into hot liquid. Stir until melted. melt-ed. CHILL until mixture is thickened but not set (about 35 to 45 min.) FOLD IN: 1 box raspberries, sweetened if desired. de-sired. TURN into graham cracker pie sheU and chill until firm (25 to 35 minutes). TOP with whipped cream to serve. Different flavors of jello and fruit may be used, such as lemon lem-on jello and bananas, or strawberry straw-berry jello and strawberries. |
