Show r. Extension Class Starts Today At Duchesne High Parents, teachers, farmers and farmers' wives, there will be a very interesting class starting October 30, at 4:30 p. m. at the Duchesne High School. The les-"50ns les-"50ns will be on soil conservation and will be directed by the Extension Ex-tension Service of Utah State Agricultural College. Five hourj of college credit will be given for completion of the course. J. Stewart Williams, professor profes-sor of geology, will give the first lecturer on "Effect of Organic Matter on Soils. Dr. Williams will be able to make the dry soil become very much alive and in such a way that vou will be able . to always remember what he has told you. G. E. Untermann will also give a talk on "Effect of Plants and Animals on Soil." Seeing as you and I can't live without the soil, this is a good chance, right at your own door, to learn how best to take care of the wonderful part of our world about us. |
