Show Union High To Have First Parents' Day Parents of Union High School students will have the opportunity oppor-tunity of attending school next Wednesday, November 5 and will attend short class room periods while their children remain re-main at home to tend the young tots, do the chores and other things parents usually do every day. According to Principal Loman F. Hutchings, every parent is expected to attend school, which will commence at 9 a. m. with a 20-minute general assembly. assem-bly. Parents will then attend short classes, and in the afternoon after-noon will hold consultations with the teachers. During the noon period a hot lunch will be served at a minimum min-imum cost. This is the first Parents' Day to be held at Union High School and Mr. Hutchings urges all parents to take advantage of this occasion to witness just how activity in the school is handled and to become acquainted acquain-ted with the teachers. |
