Calendar For Rest Of Year Released The remainder of the district school calendar for the 1952-53 1952-53 term shows two major school vacation periods to be November Novem-ber 27-28 for Thanksgiving, and from December 24 to January 5 for the Christmas and New Year's holiday season. Other specified dates for observance ob-servance on the district school calendar are November 11. Armistice Ar-mistice Day; November 13-15, U E A Leadership School, Logan; Lo-gan; November 16-22, American Education Week; December. 3, school, board member election, district 5. The first semester ends on January 9; from February 8-14. Boy Scout meeting; February, 12, Lincoln's birthday observance; obser-vance; February 13-14. Rural Education Conference, teachers leadership school; February 14, St. Valentine's Day; February 22, George Washington's Birthday; Birth-day; March 17, St. Patrick's Day; April 1-7, Conservation Week; May 10, Mother's Day; and May 20, school closes.
