Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Horrocks have moved into the-home of their son, Delbert, to live for the winter, and Mr. and Mrs Delbert Horrocks have- gone to Las Vegas. Nevada, for the winter, win-ter, where Mrs. Horrocks is teaching school. Mrs. W. H. Coltharp and Mrs. George Houston were guests at a trousseau tea in Vernal, given giv-en for Merleen McNeill at the home of Carol Hart. John Haslem is doing cement work' for the Moon Lake Co. He Is living at Altonah while the work is going on. Reva Hall, Nellie Horrocks, Betty Bolton, Mary Bolton, Doris Dor-is Haslem and Joyce Colton attended at-tended the Primary conference at Roosevelt Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Colthacp have returned to Dugway,' after having been here for a week. Their daughter. Frances Ann, stayed here to enjoy the many Hallowe'en parties to be given here this week. She is at the home of her grandmother. Mrs. J. P. Bowen. Mr. sand Mrs. Clinton Betts, of Pleasant Grove, visited Thursday Thurs-day night at the home of her sister, Mrs. Clair Haslem. There will be a Hallowe'en party given Saturday night by the Primary for the children of the ward. All are invited to wear costumes. Wayne, Billie and Ray Haslem Has-lem were successful in getting their deer. They returned home Tuesday. Each had a buck and a smile. Mrs. Ned Coltharp motored to Salt Lake last week to attend at-tend the annual almuni dinner given at St. Marys of the Wasatch. Wa-satch. Frances Ann Coltharp and Sally Oberhansley attended a birthday party at Roosevelt given giv-en for Diane Laris, 5-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Don-ald Laris. Keith Bowen and Mark Ober-; hansly were successful in their : quest for deer, and had a pleasant pleas-ant trip. Mrs. Joyce Long, who has been living at the Winfred Long home, has moved to Lapoint. Her sister also lives there and works for the board of education educa-tion in the school lunch department. depart-ment. Joyce's husband, Norman Long, is stationed in Japan. Having had a nice trip to the Green Lake area, Lowell and Kenneth Long returned home with their legal limit of deer. Miss Edith Richardson, Miss Vera Hayman and the two Men-denhall Men-denhall sisters from Salt Lake City visited Mrs. Floyd E. Harm-ston Harm-ston Sunday. Mary Mendenhall and Isobel Harmston were in nurses training at the L D S Hospital in 1926 and had not seen each other since. Mary is head nurse in ihe maternity ward at the present time. Guy Mileham has had a promotion pro-motion wfth Phillips Petroleum Company, and has been moved from here to Farmington, New Mexico, where he will be the district production manager. |
