Show Duchesne County Among Those Who Might Receive YU Eighty seven per cent of the residents of Utah will soon be seeing television from KDYL-TV, KDYL-TV, which will put its new television tele-vision transmitter on Mount Vision Vi-sion in the Oquirrh Mountains on the air about the middle of November. From this peak 8,900 ' feet high, KDYL-TV will beam a signal sig-nal probably as far north as Pocatello, ; Idaho, . according to field test estimates, and as far south as Milford. Coverages east will reach., beyond Evanston. Wyoming, and west to Elko, White Pine and Lincoln counties in Nevada. Residents of seven Utah counties coun-ties Salt. Lake, Davis. Weber. Wasatch, Tooele, Morgan and Utah will be in the Class A signal area, which means they will receive a television picture exactly like the one now being received in Salt Lake City. Residents Res-idents of Box Elder, Cache,. Rich, Duchesne,1 Summit, Juab, San Pete and Carbon are classified classi-fied in the B ' coverage area, which means they will receive a good picture; while Millard. Sevier, Emery, Grand and Uintah Uin-tah county residents will receive a. picture with the installation of higher aerials. Work on the high construction construc-tion project is being pushed to completion 'and KDYL-TV hopes to begin testing from the Mount Vision site early in November, with " plans to go on the air about the middle of November. |
