Show T.lyton Mrs. Grace Dalgleish Mrs. Wm R. Preece and Mrs. W. E. Burton were co-hostesses to members of the Ladies Aid, Thursday afternoon at the Preece home. A bazaar and rummage rum-mage sale were planned for June 1 at the church. Lulu Lu-lu Mae Cooper, who recently represented the Myton Presbyterian Presby-terian church at the Youth Syn od at Mt. Pleasant, gave an interesting in-teresting report of her trip and experiences. At the close of the business session, refreshments were served to Mrs. Wm. Harris Mr. Wesley Bruramett, Mrs. Milton Mil-ton Lott, Mrs. Carlos Clark, Mrs. Bliss Lott, Mrs. H. W. Davenport, Daven-port, Mrs. James Weston, Mrs. I. R. Tuttle, and Miss Lulu Mae Cooper. LaDell Sessions, of Salt Lake City, district governor of the Lions club, was present, Wednesday Wednes-day evening at the regular session ses-sion of the Myton club. President Presi-dent Howard W, Davenport was in charge of the meeting, The committee reported that the first project of the organization organiza-tion the purchase of fire-fighting equipment had been oversubscribed over-subscribed by civic-minded businessmen busi-nessmen and citizens of Myton. The unit purchased includes a Har'die 3-piston, high-pressure pump, 500 gallon water tank, necessary fire hose, and other fire-fighting equipment. Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish entertained their bridge club at their home Sunday evening. ' Supper was served to Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Lamb, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Harris, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Linck, Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Davenport, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Lamb, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Lott, Mrs. Bliss Lott, Miss Alice Todd, and Lee Cooper. Bridge was later lat-er enjoyed. Prizes were won by Mrs. Rex Lamb, Lee Cooper, and Mrs. Harris. Mrs. Homer Roblson underwent under-went an operation last week at the Salt Lake General hospital, and is now getting along nicely. Mr. Robison returned from Salt Lake Thursday, and had expected expect-ed to visit her again Sunday; but the storm that swept Utah forced him to turn back at Currant Cur-rant Creek. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. R. Preece spent the weekend in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Linck and daughter, Margo, returned Sunday Sun-day after a weekend visit in Salt Lake City. Jack Gingell, who has been under medical treatment in Salt Lake City, returned home Monday. During his absence he visited his daughters, Mrs. Herbert Her-bert Christiansen and Mrs. Bert Carter, of Provo. Mrs. Ronald Bowden, confined to the Roosevelt hospital for some time, was sufficiently recovered re-covered Sunday to be returned home. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart, of Duchesne, Du-chesne, visited Monday with Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish. |
