Show School For County Officials Held At Duchesne A group of ten officials and members of the Utah State Association As-sociation of County Officials conducted a school for local county officials and employees. Monday at Duchesne. The school was given in cooperation co-operation with the State School for Vocational Education. Mark S. Johnson, Millard county commissioner, and Grace Stevenson, Davis county record-2r, record-2r, attended as coordinators. School topics included "New Legislation," by Arnold C. Roy-lance, Roy-lance, Utah county attorney; 'County Road Problems," by Howard R. Williams, traffic and planning engineer, Utah State Road commission, and Harold S. Carter, professor of civil engineering, en-gineering, University of Utah; "Coordination of County Services," Ser-vices," I. Dale Despain, Utah county planning director; "The Responsibility of Being a Public Official," W. C. Andrews, Juab Ju-ab county commissioner; President's Pres-ident's Message," Boyd M. Sheffield, Shef-field, president o f the Utah State Association of County Officials Of-ficials and treasurer for Box Elder county. An open forum discussion was conducted by Ellsworth E. Weaver, associate professor, institute in-stitute of government, University Univer-sity of Utah. |
