Show i Mt. Emmons Deane Case Mr. and Mrs. George Rogers were in Salt Lake Wednesday and Thursday. While there Mrs. Rogers consulted a physician concerning a tumor on her shoulder. Neldon Mitchell, of Salt Lake City, on leave from the navy, visited several days last week with his cousin, Earl Crosby. Neldon is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Mitchell, former residents resi-dents of Upalco. Violent vibrations set off T, IT J T OA 1 U ivionaay, jair. ou, u.y mc u.yna-mite u.yna-mite explosion broke windows in the homes of Leslie J. Orr, Earl Case, Willard B. Mecham and Leroy Thacker and in the R.E.A. office building. Plaster fell from the walls of Evan Hansen's Han-sen's home, and the lock was broken on Gordon Case's front door. Last week the high school chose Miss Lois Bleazard to represent rep-resent Altamont at the Sweetheart Sweet-heart Ball, to be held Saturday night at Victory Park. Lois, a member of the sophmore class, is from Mtn. Home. Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Clegg, of Provo, were weekend guests at the Edgar Miles home. Mrs. Clegg is the former Veva Miles. Mr. and Mrs. Hershel Iorg were hosts Saturday evening at a family 500 party. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Linden Hanson, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Hanson, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hanson and, Mr. and Mrs. Ned Mitchell. A delicious deli-cious supper was served by the hostess. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Allen and son, of Vernal, visited Sunday with Allen's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie J. Orr. A birthday dinner was served in honor of Mrs. Orr's anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Thacker are. back in Mt. Emmons after living in Draper for the past year. |
