Show P-TA meeting Held Thursday The last P-TA meeting was held at the Alterra school Thursday evening with a very poor attendance of parents. The following - officers were put in for the coming school year: Mrs. Ross Iorg, president; Mrs. Albert Daniels, as one vice-president, and Earl Hatch the other one. Mrs. Anna Bess LaRose, is secretary sec-retary and Mrs. Wilson Gu'tz-man Gu'tz-man is treasurer. Ballard M.I.A. participated in the stake musical entertainment j on Tuesday night at the stake center. All those who attended pronounced it a beg success. Sunday School Faculty meeting meet-ing was held at the home of Mrs. Ernest Betts on Wednesday evening. There were eleven officers of-ficers and teachers present, with Wendel Johnson presenting the lesson, afterwhich ice cream, cookies and punch were served. A nice crowd enjoyed square dancing at Ballard Thursday evening. We still invite anyone who' would like to join us. Ev-ery-other Thursday evening we go to Bennett. Pres. and Mrs. Hollis Hullinger Hullin-ger and Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Niel-son, Niel-son, of the stake,' enjoyed the Elders' party at Ballard Monday Mon-day evening. Glen Womack spent several days last week with home folks, this past week he went to St. George. Frank Bingham, Norman An-' An-' gus, Ensign Clark and Howard Todd were those who were home over Mother's Day from the A. C. at Logan. Lynn Bracken Brack-en was here from the B.Y.U. at Provo. Wendel Johnson made a short trip to Salt Lake City during the weekend. Barbara Hullinger, who is a student at the U.S.A.C., was also home with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Hullinger, over the weekend. Mrs. Lawrence Brighton entertained en-tertained her Blue Bird group of Primary girls at an out-door party at the Peak, after school on Thursday. Vaughn Simper was sustained as a High Counselman at .the Roosevelt Stake Conference, on Sunday. Bernard Larsen.is having his dance hall at Victory Park remodeled re-modeled for dancing and roller skating. Duane Bracken, of Roosevelt, is in charge of the work. |
