Readies Annual Jr. Livestock SSioiv Something new has been added add-ed to the annual Moon Lake Future Fu-ture Farmers of America Junior Livestock Show, which opens Friday morning, May 15, at the Altamont Rodeo' grounds. The new feature- is a tractor rodeo. According to H. Ross Berrett, Ag. instructor at Altamont High School, the chapter has completed com-pleted plans for the yearly event. Bob Fieldsted, chapter president, is general chairman, and has appointed the following committees. Grounds, Robert Alexander, Curtis Dastrup and Cliff Clark; program and advertisement, Lowell Leavitt, Clyde Goodrich and Durell Farnsworth; collec-1 tion, Clyde Goodrich, Leo Ames, Bob Fieldsted and Ronald Goodrich. Good-rich. The program will start at 9:30 a.m. with the tractor rodeo. Implement dealers from Altamont Alta-mont and Roosevelt will furnish the machinery for this event. . Next on the program will be I student judging by FFA and 4-H groups, conducted by Louis A. Jensen, Duchesne County agent. Student showmanship, under supervision of Wesley Dicker-son, Dicker-son, of Roosevelt, will follow. The official judging will be the last event. The Danish system of judging will be used with prize money to be divided among all the winners. A grand champion will be chosen in each class. |
