Show L-D.S- Seminaries Chart Graduation "Man Does Not Walk Alone' Is Theme Of Roosevelt Exercises Theme for the commencement exercises of the Roosevelt Sem- inary class of 1953, is "Man Does Not Walk Alone." According Accord-ing to Wendell Johnson, principal princi-pal of the Roosevelt Seminary, I . . . the annual graduation will take place Sunday, May 17, at 8 p.m. at the Roosevelt Stake House. Prelude and march for the graduates will be played by Mrs. R. V. Larson. Appropriate talks and musical selections will be given by the students, and presentation of graduates' will be by Melvin J. Petersen, Seminary Sem-inary instructor. Hollis G. Hul-linger, Hul-linger, president of the Roosevelt Roose-velt LDS stake, will present the diplomas. iSeminary officers for the class are: Carolyn Whiting, president; Marilyn Brighton, vice-president; Ruth Burr, secretary, sec-retary, and Gwennita Curry, reporter. re-porter. The graduation committee consists of Lynne. Goodrich, chairman; Donna Ross, Shirley Harmon, Nancy Witbeck, David Kelsey, Richard Ford Larsen, Keith Bastian and Gerald Murphy. Mur-phy. Special four-year certificates will be awarded to Ruth Burr, Marilyn Brighton, Gary Gardner, Gard-ner, Morgan Glines, Lynne Goodrich, Flora Harvey, Don Killian, Lela Mitchell, Lela Morrill, Kenneth Nickell, Keith Walker and Veda Wall. This group all graduated with the 1952 class A complete list of the 1953 Seminary graduates will be published pub-lished next week. |
