Show Legion Auxiliary Elects Officers The American Legion Auxiliary Auxil-iary held its meeting for the month of May at the home of Lurrine Duncan, last Monday evening. Officers for the coming com-ing year were elected by members mem-bers present and installed by district president, Erma Sutteer, of Ft. Duchesne. The list includes: Flora Bastian, Bas-tian, president; Geneva Larsen, 1st vice president; Von Larsen, 2nd vice-president; Gussie Yack, secretary - treasurer; Palmeria Peterson, sergeant - at - arms; Erma Er-ma Oberhansley, chaplain. The June meeting will be held at the home of Palmira Peterson, i . Fairon Smith, whose home town is Tooele and who is in the US Navy at present, is enjoying en-joying h'is leave at the home of his fiance, Miss Carolyn Whiting. Whit-ing. The young couple plan on a wedding in the near future. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Peterson and children spent Saturday in Salt Lake City. Being welcomed home by their many friends are Mr. and Mrs. John A. Olsen, who have spent the past winter in Denver, Colorado as caretakers of the LDS Mission Home there. A new home was begun in Neola last week. Mr. and Mrs. LaZell Henrie are building on the corner lot south-west of the ward chapel. Tal Wardle" attended a Scout meeting in Roosevelt last Wednesday. |
