The Sunday morning program featured the children of the church with the primary classes class-es presenting a play entitled, "The Path of the Star" under the direction of Dorothy Workman, Work-man, and included the following follow-ing cast: Shepherd, Howard Junior Harmston; Sarah (Shepherd's wife), Linda Perryman; John (Shepherd's son), Bonnie Kay Workman; Peter ( Playmate ), Dennis Yack; Samuel (Playmate), (Play-mate), Dee Felter; Ruth (Playmate), (Play-mate), Shirley Irmen; Miriam (Playmate), Burdeen Roberts; Mary, Polly Irmen; Joseph, Larry Lar-ry Irmen; Wise men, Carol Felter, Fel-ter, Patricia Stone and Margie Fields. (The fact that girls played play-ed the part of boys is explained by a shortage of manpower.) "The Light of Christmas'-' was the title of the Sunday evening-program, evening-program, which was told in music, mu-sic, scripture and the spoken word, with the choir, under the direction of Miss Dorothy Scur-lock, Scur-lock, being featured. Soloists included Mrs. Ellis Denver, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Dillman, and an instrumental solo by Bob Irmen. |
