Show Adams Family Leaves After Visit Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Adams and son, Clifford, left Wednesday, Wednes-day, after a week's visit at the home of Mr. and' Mrs. Francis Ross. They expected to visit relatives in Provo and spend a short time in St. George and points in Arizona, as they returned re-turned to Fargo, Oklahoma. While here they were entertained entertain-ed by their many old friends, who enjoyed their brief return to Myton. Mrs. Rex Lamb entertained Saturday afternoon at a bridge luncheon at her lovely ranch, home. - Her guest list included Mrs. Homer Robinson, Miss Alice Al-ice Todd, Mrs. James Dalgleish, Mrs. .Joseph Woolf, Mrs. A. C. Tolboe, Mrs. Floyd Lamb, Mrs. W. H. Xiinck and Mrs. S. F. Mortensen. ' Bridge was enjoyed during the afternoon and high score prize was awarded to Mrs. Robinson. . . Mr.- and Mrs. W. H. Linck were hosts Sunday evening at a delightful bridge dinner. Places Plac-es were marked for Mr. and Mrs. Rex - Lamb, Mr. and Mrs Homer Robinson, Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish, Mr. and Mrs. S. F. Mortensen, Mrs. Floyd Lamb and Miss Alice Todd. Bridge was the evening's diversion, diver-sion, with prizes awarded to Mrs. Robinson, Mrs. Floyd Lamb, Rex Lamb and Mrs. Mortensen. Mor-tensen. Lowell Babcock and his sister. Miss Nina Babcock left Wednesday Wednes-day for Salt Lake City, where they will be employed. Loyal Perry went to Salt Lake City ; on a" short business trip, returning home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart, of Duchesne, Du-chesne, visited their daughter and sori-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish, one day last week. Mr. arid Mrs. Wm. R. Preece, Jr. came from Nephi to spend the weekend here and in Roosevelt. Roose-velt. They report Mr. Preece's oarerits, who went to Nephi for the Xmas holidays, exoect to return re-turn to their home in Roosevelt, soon. Their visit was extended because of the serious illness of Mr. Preece, Sr., who only recently re-cently was heleased from the hospital to convalesce at his son's home until sufficiently recovered re-covered . to return home. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Fouse. of i Upalco, visited friends in My-1 ton, Monday afternoon. Emery Neilson, who has been seriously , ill during the past two weeks, is greatly improved and able to be busy with his duties at their home. Mr and Mrs. Rex Lamb and daughter, Connie, went to Salt Lake City, Tuesday, where the little Miss received medical attention. at-tention. During their absence, their tiny son was a visitor at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Linck Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Reynolds returned Sunday from a ten-day ten-day vacation trip to California, where they attended a preview of the 1953 Studebaker automobile, automo-bile, returning home through Mexico, where they enjoyed a visit "south of the border." Their infant daughter, Melody, made her home with her grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Funk, during her parents' absence. ab-sence. Max Peatross returned last; week from Salt Lake City, where he spent some time visiting visit-ing relatives. LaVor Dennis came from southern Utah, where he is employed em-ployed on highway construction, for a brief visit with his wife and daughters. George Funk made a quick business trip to Salt Lake City, returning Sunday. |
