Dart entertained ! a few friends at her home on iMay 24, in honor of her son, ; Willis, who was home on a short furlough. Eighteen young guests enjoyed the evening and delicious refreshments. Mr. and Mrs. R. ' H. B-own, of San Diego, Calif., called recently re-cently on Mr. and Mrs. Jack Spencer. Mrs. Brown will be remembered at Caroline Palmer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Palmer, one of Ioka's early settlers, set-tlers, who lived on the farm now occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Jack Spencer. Mrs. Minnie Ashton will return re-turn to her home in Idaho this week, following a two-week visit vis-it with her sisters, Mrs. Ariel Michie and Mrs. Bill Faucett. Evelyn Faucett is visiting in Vernal with her sister, Mrs. Bar-i Bar-i bara McCarrell. Willis left the next day for San Diego, where he is stationed. sta-tioned. , Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Blan-chard, Blan-chard, of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Devon Gentry, of Myton. called at the W. G. Gentry and Tom Gentry homes Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Brown and daughters, of Sunnydale; Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hales and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Shel-don Axelson, of Price; Billy Drolc and sister, Betty, and James Jellitia, of Price, weie guests of Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lemon over the weekend. Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Hales and Mrs. Axelsen are Mrs. Reed Lemon's sisters. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hales, of Price, were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Timothy on Friday. Miss Florence Percival returned re-turned home last week from Provo, where she had been visiting vis-iting her sister, Mrs. Ralph Scott and her brother, Guy. and family. Mr. and Mrs. James Lloyd and daughter, Dean, spent Decoration Dec-oration Day with relatives and friends in Panguitch. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Lloyd and Bertha Neilson, of Salt Lake City, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Otto Lloyd, Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Doyl Lloyd visited vis-ited in Salt Lake City Thursday and Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Swain, of Twin Falls, Idaho, were here for Memorial Day. Mrs. Marie Benson accompanied them a.s far as Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. J.. E. Angus and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Miles, of Orem; Mr. and Mrs. Ray j Jones, of Denver; Mr. and Mt. Glen Remund, Duchesne; Mr. and Mrs. Orie Cook, of Bluebell were here for Memorial Day.
