Show Mtonah , Mrs. Elhel Beebe Priesthood Gave Sasrcday Program Members of the Priesthood furnished the talks in Sacia-ment Sacia-ment meeting Sunday afternoon. Those talcing part were TerrL Jacobson and Dwane Young. Stake Missionaries Barton Tew, Sr. and Elton Rust, of Talmage, were visitors. Mrs. Ida Woodard and some friends, of Provo, visited friends in Altonah over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Beebe, of Salt Lake City, were guests Saturday and Sunday of Mr. j and Mrs. Gilbert Beebe. Mrs. Blaine Corbin took her son, Homer, to Salt Lake City, I Sunday, where he will undergo another operation on his mouth, Monday morning at the L.D.S.! hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Olsen spent the weekend in Carbon county visiting relatives. Mr. Olsen's sister, Mrs. Iva Draper, and two children returned home with them to visit until after Decor ation day. PRIMARY CONFERENCE Altonah Ward Primary Conference Con-ference and graduation exercises were held Sunday evening. The theme of the conference was "Church Songs and Their Meaning," Mean-ing," by the Primary children. Those graduating were Janice Allred, Doris Allred. Laura Carroll, Car-roll, Ted Clark, Dick Miller, Jack Reese, and Ernie Riley. Children starting to school this fall and are going to kin dergarten at Altamont are Betty Anderson, Joan Carroll, Tamra Shiner, Helen Allred, Jimmie Riley and David Monson. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Beebe j transacted business and visited in Vernal, Monday. SWARM DAY Stake Beehive Girls and Mothers Swarm Day was held at Mt. Emmons, Thursday. Mothers and daughters from Altonah Al-tonah amending were: Mrs. Bel-va Bel-va Allred and Ruth, Mrs. Mable Maxfield and Coralie. Mrs. lies Ames and Bonrlie, Laura Carroll, Car-roll, Cleo Clark and Janice All-red. All-red. Norline Clark, of Bonanza, is here visiting her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Clark, and her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Fenton Powell. Rex Fowler, a student at the U. of U., spent Decoration Day and the weekend with his par-I par-I ents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse A. Fowler. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Bowden and family spent Decoration Day in Salt Lake City. Decoration Day visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs Dallas Ames were: Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wirthlin and son, of Salt Lake City, and Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Agneu, Of Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. A. Max-field, Max-field, Mrs. George Fisher, Jr., daughter, Susan, Mrs. Dennie Ralphs attended the funeral of a niece and cousin, Pearl Ek?.-lund, Ek?.-lund, in Greenriver, Utah, on Thursday. FRIDAY VISITORS Decoration. Day visitors in Altonah, Al-tonah, Friday, were Mr. and Mrs. John Robinson, of Price; Mrs. Willard Smith, of Myton; Mrs. Hugh Stevens, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Faucett, of Orem; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Robinson and Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Young, of Pleasant Grove; Mr. and Mrs. Dean Mecham and Mrs. Edith Allred, of Vernal; Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Beebe and daughters, and Mrs Ellen Madsen, of Duchesne; Bill Clark, of Tabiona; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence DeHaven, of Og- den; Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Bowden Bow-den and daughters, Mrs. Oral Clark, Mrs. Dora Lee Snyder, of Gusher; Mr. and Mrs. Heber Timothy and Lowell Mitchell, of Roy.
