Show LEGION GROUPS MEET The American Legion and Auxiliary, Wm. R. Sands Post and Unit No. 5, held their regular, reg-ular, meetings in the Legion hall Thursday evening. Commander Milton Lott was in charge of the Legion meeting, while president pres-ident Alice BfVimmett conducted the Auxiliary session. Special Auxiliary business pertained to the giving away of their cedar chest and lovely hand-made contests now on display dis-play at the Dalgleish store. Some one will be the lucky winner win-ner on Xmas Eve, when the chest will be given. Members reported on the number of tickets tick-ets sold and the quantity of items it-ems already oh display in the chest. Dr. R. C. Dalgleish visited Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgeish. Tuesday, Tues-day, when returning to Salt ! Lake City after attending to his duties in this district as State Director of Dental Health, i Mr. and Mrs. Bert Carter and ' family came from Provo Sat-: urday to enjoy a weekend visit . at the home of Mrs. Carter's ; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gingell. While here they spent : an afternoon searching the water wa-ter ways for the elusive ducks and reported fair luck. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Lott and , children took Mr. L-ott's mother, Mrs. Bliss Lott, to Salt Lake City Saturday, where she boarded board-ed a train for Los Angeles. Mrs. Lott will spend the winter with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Tinsley. The Milton Lott family returned to their, home Sunday evening. Don Liddell left Sunday for Salt Lake City where he will enjoy a few days visiting and shopping. J. W. Jenson left Monday for Salt Lake City. He will visit members of his family while there and then go to Calif, to spend the winter with Mr. and 1 Mrs. Harry Haskell, a daughter and son-in-law. George Maxwell and Ralph Maxwell, who resided in Myton during their early youth, visited with old friends Thursday, while transacting business here. The Maxwell brothers now make their home in Salt Lake City. |
