Show Relief Society Has Quilting Bee The Relief Society quilted a beautiful quilt for Mrs. Vernia Shiner in meeting Tuesday in the ward hall, starting at 10:30 a.m. A pot-luck lunch was served to the following ladies: Mrs. Vernia Shiner, Mrs. Violet Vio-let Smith, Mrs. Eldora Mitchell, Mrs. Eliza Clark, Mrs. Blanch Powell, Mrs. Mary Riley, Mrs. Margaret Maxfield. Mrs. - Henrietta Hen-rietta Carroll, Mrs. Marion Mon-son, Mon-son, Mrs. LaRue Fisher, Mrs. Mary Powell, Mrs. Mable Maxfield Max-field and Mrs. Ethel Beebe. Ronald Hill, of Duchesne, spent the weekend visiting Mrs. Elva Snyder and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Jacobson. . Mrs. Vendetta Clark left the latter part of the week for Tre-monton, Tre-monton, Utah, to visit her son and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Max Clark and new grandson, who was born Dec. 4th. Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Mitchell Mitch-ell and Mrs. Wanda Allred went to Vernal. Thursday, where Mrs Allred received medical care. REPORTS FOR PHYSICAL Perry Maxfield reported on Tuesday, Dec. 8th for his physical phy-sical examination at Ft. Douglas Doug-las in Salt Lake City. Perry is a students at the BYU in Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Charley Bowden and daughters, of Bonanza, spent Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Bowden. Mr. and Mrs. George Berrett and daughters made a trip to Salt Lake City over the weekend. week-end. On Monday they left for Rangely, Colo., where Mr. Berrett Ber-rett is employed by the R.E.A. and will replace Charles Allred, who was killed recently, until a replacement can be secured. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Olsen. They are planning on making their home in Roosevelt. |
