Show By Mrs. ZUpha Wall Honored At Party A party was given Friday evening at the home of Madge Wall in honor of Mrs. Nellie Harris and Mrs. Nona Jarme?. Gifts were presented to thj ladies; games were played and refreshments served to twenty-two twenty-two guests. Visitors on Parents' Day at Union High School in Roosevelt were Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Dur fee. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Dudley, Dud-ley, Jennie McMullin, Bert Stoddard Stod-dard and Jewell Wall, all of Randlett. Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Wall, Sr. received word from their daughter, daugh-ter, Ruth, formerly of San Fran-ciso, Fran-ciso, Calif., that she has arrived in Paris. France, where she wi'l continue going to school. She writes that living conditions there are much different than here in America. The M.I.A. held a dance at the Avalon chapel, Tuesday evening. eve-ning. "Refreshments were served and a good time was had by all who attended. Mr. and Mrs. Arden Hacking, of Deep Creek, were visitors at the home of George Brough, Sunday. Visitors at the home of Dee and Grant Brough, Saturday evening were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rob-ert Brough. Mr. and Mrs. Gil-, bert Brough, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Stan-ley Womack, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Wall, all of Randlett. Lewis Rawlings, of Roosevelt. 1 was a visitor at the Avalon school, Friday. Blake Paey is employed at the P.M.A. office in Vernal. Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Lewis, of Saraha Village, is visiting at the home of Jesse Jensen. Edgar Jensen is now working for Willis Stevens on Willow Creek. Leo Jorgenson and Raloh Wall are working on the South Ouray oil well. Mr. and Mrs. Jessp Jensen were visitors at the home of Marie Lock, of Roosevelt. Myrle Moore and Jewell Wal! took their Primary boys on an outing on Green River, Sunday afternoon. |
