Show Riderette Club Sponsors Dance Riderette Day was observed at the Roosevelt Jr. High school all day Friday, Nov. 7, when all students trudged to school in Western garb. The main fea ture of the day was the assembly, assem-bly, which featured a clever program under the direction of chairman Joan Walker. Laura Lee Leardahl, and Judy HaU. Evelyn Fausett and Homer Cook were acclaimed as having the best Western costumes on the campus. The event was terminated with a dance at the Jr. High gym Friday evening. Crowned as the top cowgirl and cowhand cow-hand were Ramona Nielson and Alma Robbins. The dance committee consisted consist-ed of-. Kay. Timothy. Connie Stevens, Barcy Nickell, Ida Andrews, An-drews, Arlene Lawson. Connie Bastian, Maurine Yack. Cheryl Drollinger and JoLene Robison. Much of the credit for the decorations goes to Lonnie Peterson Pet-erson Randy Nelson. Phillip Bellon and Ferrell Crozier. Mrs. Wanda Riggle is 9th grade girls' Riderette Club adviser. |
