Show Duveromy Chapter Names Officers For 1953 Season Duveronty Chapter No. 17, Order of Eastern Star, held its regular meeting Tuesday evening, eve-ning, November 11, at the Masonic Ma-sonic Temple. Main purpose of the meeting was to elect officers of-ficers to direct the coming year's activities. Thirty-nine members were in atendance at the meeting from Duchesne, Myton. Vernal, Jensen, Jen-sen, Neola, Whiterocks and Roosevelt. Mrs. Sadie Blank, of Neola, worthy matron, presided. The following were elected to office: Anna Norman. Roosevelt, Roos-evelt, worthy matron:. Thomas Sweatman, Vernal, worthy patron: pa-tron: Wanda Riggle, Neola, as- sociate matron; Harvey Riggle, I Neola. associate patron; Nellie Jones', Duchesne, secretary; Helen Hel-en Hancock, Roosevelt, treasurer; treasur-er; Jean Stevens, Vernal, conductress; con-ductress; Maxine Hatch, associate associ-ate conductress. Appointive positions were filled fil-led as follows: Jean Shuckers, Myton, chaplain; Helen Stevens. Vernal, marshall; Florence Mar-imon, Mar-imon, Whiterocks organist; Star Points Adah, Margaret Rye, Vernal; Ver-nal; Ruth, Betty Hackler. Vernal; Ver-nal; Esther, Elinore Creech. Roosevelt; Martha, Margaret Phillips, Vernal; Electa. Alice Hatch, Vernal; Fern Richardson. Roosevelt, warder; Charles Richardson, Rich-ardson, Roosevelt, sentinel; Lu'a Munz, Duchesne, three year trustee. Officers will be installed at a special meeting during November. Novem-ber. Mrs. Dorothy Walker, Mrs. Rose Walker and Mrs. Nora Ma: thews, Roosevelt, were hostessts at the social hour which followed fol-lowed the meeting. |
