Show Mrs. Bertha Angus Mrs. Violet Gentry Home From Scout Jamboree The Boy Scouts, Cline Camp-'bell, Camp-'bell, John Percival and Kent Robison returned Saturday from the Boy Scout Jamboree. They were given a chance and all talked in Sacrament meeting Sunday. Their fathers, Milo Campbell, Hugh Percival and Russel Robison, were also called on to speak. Other speakers were Glade Nelson, of Upalco, who recently returned from Sweeden, where he filled a mission mis-sion for the LDS church, and President Clifford Drollinger. ' A special musical number was a piano solo. "Nearer My God to Thee," by Ravona Campbell. Charlene Stone visited at home over the weekend. Her mother, Mrs. Dorothy Stone, accompanied her back to Salt Lake City, Sunday. Dr. and Mrs. Maurice Benson and daughter, of Salt Lake City, were visitors of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Benson, for the 24th of July. Lloyd Wall, of Helper, was a visitor in Ioka Sunday. Lloyd with his parents, were residents resi-dents here for many years. Mrs. Etta Webb went to Bennett Ben-nett Sunday to visit Primary. Mrs. Webb is a stake officer in Primary. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Drol-linger Drol-linger visited the new branch of the Leota ward, Willow Creek, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Duncan, of Neola, and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Lloyd went to Bridgeland Sunday Sun-day to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee and see their new baby. Mr. and Mrs. Golden Timothy and Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Timothy Timo-thy and family went to Jensen, Sunday to visit friends and relatives. rel-atives. Sunday, Bishop and Mrs. James Lemon and family visited in Upalco with Mrs. Lemon's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Nelson. Nel-son. Also present for the family fam-ily dinner were, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brown and their three children, of Sandy, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar N. Nelson, Jr. and daughter, daugh-ter, Linda, and Glad Nelson, of Upalco. Mr. and Mrs. James Zoebell were Salt Lake City visitors Wednesday, returning home the same day. Mrs. Clarence Jones and children chil-dren spent Tuesday of last week with Mrs. Stella Ames. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lemon last week were, Mr. and Mrs. Karl Lemon and children, of Lewiston, Mrs. Vera Jensen, of Peoa, and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Lemon and little son, Robert, of Salt Lake City. Carl Richens is a Salt Lake City visitor this week. Mr. and Mrs. Senor Morten-sen Morten-sen made a trip to Delta last week. They also visited in Sa-lina Sa-lina and Spring City. Charles Richens made a business busi-ness trip to Henifer last week. Jimmy Lemon is spending a few days with his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Max Hart-man, Hart-man, of Mt. Emmons. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lemon and family attended the Timothy Timo-thy reunion at Provo, Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Timothy, of Ogden, accompanied them home and will spend a few days visiting vis-iting them and also with Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Timothy. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brown, of Sandy, visited at the home of Bishop and Mrs. Lemon Saturday. Sat-urday. Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Lemon are sisters. |
