Show BMDGELAUD , Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee IVIta Maids Given Awards Sunday Sunday evening at Sacrament meeting the following girls were awarded their Mia Joy award certificates: Darleen Brady, Va-loy Va-loy Wright, LuJean Jenunings and Bertie Lisonbee. Louise Lid-dell Lid-dell and Judy Halladay received second year Mia certificates. They were awarded by the Y. W.M.I.A. president, Mrs. Edythe Marrett. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Bates, of Spokanne, Wash., visited here last week with Mr. and Mrs. Mallolm Walters. Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Brady were: Mr. and Mrs. Arden Peterson Pet-erson and family, of Murray; Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Rasmussen and baby, of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Tom So'uthhouse, of Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Liddell and daughters, JaNae and Karen, Kar-en, in company with Mr. and Mrs. Ken Leavitt and children, of Salt Lake City, left Thursday afternoon far a trip to Dillon, Montana, where they spent the weekend. Weekend visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Alma Smith were: Mr. and Mrs. Carl Smith and children, of Springville; Mr. and Mrs. Howard Smith and children, of Oakland, Calif. Mrs. Leland Wright and little daughters, Carolyn and Linda, of Utahn, visited Saturday with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Mal-colm Walters. Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee were Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Young, of Mt. Emmons; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Duncan, Dun-can, of Neola; Mr. and Mrs. Otto Lloyd, of Ioka. Elden Brady and daughter, Carol Ann, and Joann Shep-hard Shep-hard went to Salt Lake City, Sunday to' attend the funeral services of a relative. Mrs. Norma Robb, of Utahn, visited Saturday with her brother broth-er and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Smith. Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Neilsen and boys spent a few days at Yellowstone and Moon Lake last week. They were joined by Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Young, of Mt. Emmons. Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee Lison-bee and baby, Mrs. Elizabeth Christensen visited Sunday evening eve-ning with Mrs. Darleen Thomas at Duchesne. Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Walters and daughter, Ruth, spent the 24th holiday at Rock Creek in company with Mr. and Mrs. Leland Le-land Wright and family, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wright and family, of Utahn. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Neilsen and children, of Vernal, visited at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Neilsen, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Stansfield on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Taylor and Liddell attended a family reunion re-union at Merkley Pastures on Sunday. Saturday overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Taylor were Mr. and Mrs. Golden Merkley, of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs J. R. Clayburn, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Clayburn, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Clayburn, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Clayburn. Mr. and Mrs Vere Neilsen attended funeral 'services for a relative at Midway, Sunday. Mrs. Ruth Gail was at Roosevelt Roose-velt last week caring for her grandchildren while their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Thure Carlson, Carl-son, enjoyed a fishing trip. |
