Show v Our Boys In The Service RICHARD F. BAILEY CASTLE AIR FORCE BASE Airman Second Class Richard F. Bailey a resident of Roosevelt Roose-velt before entering the Air Force in June, 1950, has report ed for duty at Castle Air Force Base, Merced,. Calif., arriving July 13. Airman Bailey, who was born in Roosevelt, will be assigned as a supply man at Castle, a B-50 Superfortress unit of the Fifteenth Fif-teenth Air Force. A former student stu-dent at Roosevelt High School, he was stationed at Kimpo, Korea, before his transfer to Castle. HAROLD D. STEVENSON GEORGE AFB, CALIF. (Special) (Spe-cial) Cadet Harold B. Ste-senson, Ste-senson, son of Harold Stevenson, student at Brig'ham Young University, Un-iversity, arrived July 19, 1953 at Air Force ROTC summer camp at George Air Force Base, Victorville, Calif., for four weeks orientation and training in various functions of an air base. The cadet will spend a minimum of six hours flying in various types of aircraft located at George Air Force Base. Summer Camp is an additional addition-al requirement to the four years of Air Science & Tactics at a college or university which is required before the cadet may receive his reserve commission in the United States Air Force. CLIFFORD DUNCAN Pvt. Clifford Duncan US 56 214 038, of Whiterocks, Utah, has been assigned to' Camp Roberts, Calif, to begin his military mil-itary training. Pvt. Duncan, whose father, Ivan Duncan, resides at White-rocks, White-rocks, has been assigned to Co. "A" 23rd Armd. Inf. Bn. at Camp Roberts. The huge ' military installation, installa-tion, one of the largest replacement replace-ment Training Centers during World War II, is now the home of the "Lucky Seventh" Armored Armor-ed Division and is located on U. S. Highway 101 about halfway between the cities of Lcs Angeles An-geles and San Francisco. |
