Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Miles received re-ceived word from their son, Harold that he was married August 19, to Muriel May Hotal-ing Hotal-ing the wedding was in Texas, where Harold is stationed. Eva Wall was here last week he visited several days with Mr. and Mrs. Otto Lloyd. Mr. and Mrs. John Spencer announce an-nounce the wedding of their daughter, Ada to Clifford G. Stoker of Midway. Mr. Stoker is enjoying a furlough and will return re-turn to be assigned further in the service of our country. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Wall and family of Provo have moved into in-to the home of Mrs. Jeannette Miles, (deceased) They expect to build on their own property in Myton in the very near future. They are enjoying a visit from their son, Hal and wife. Hal is spending a furlough, he recently returned from Europe where he was in the 8th Air Force and made his quota of missions over Germany. Mrs. Fern Benson and daughter daugh-ter of Roosevelt were visiting Mrs. John Angus Sunday. Mrs. Eva Miles also called on Mrs, Angus Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. William Faucett announce the engagement of their daughter, LcRay to Craig Caldwell of Lapoint. The wedding wed-ding will take place in the near future. Mr. Caldwell is a pari-trooper pari-trooper and has served in Europe since March of this year, after a 30 day furlough he will report to a camp in North Carolina where he expects to be assigned to duty with the boys in the Pacific. Snyder and the Floyd Case home at Mt. Emmons I on Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Lisonbee took their son, Jay to Heber .on Thursday to receive medical care. Mrs. Ethel Neal of California spent Wednesday evening and Thursday morning visiting her sister, Mrs. Jennie Goodrich. From here she went to Vernal to visit relatives there. Mrs. Edna Seeley "and two children brought Mrs. Laura Seeley and daughter, Betty Lou home on Wednesday. Mrs. Laura Seeley has been going to a polio training school in Emigration canyon and reports that she enjoyed en-joyed it very much. Mrs. Edna Seeley and babies returned to their home at Salt Lake City on Sunday after visiting visit-ing relatives here and in Ioka. Miss LaWanna Murray return ed home on Thursday evening after receiving medical treat-' ment in Salt Lake City. The operetta, "Toyland Fantasy" Fan-tasy" was presented by the Bluebell Blue-bell Primary on Thursday evening. even-ing. The costumes were colorful and every description of the character represented. Mrs. Ida Stansfield and children chil-dren of Price are visiting her parents, Mr. ana Mrs. Isaac Bird. Mr. and Mrs. LaVon Atwood and four daughters spent a few days in Salt Lake City last week. They returned home on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Powell took Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Stevenson Stev-enson and Bert Allred to Price on Sunday where Mr. Stevenson went to consult a doctor. |
