Show Cattle and Horses Leave Forest Range For Winter Grazing VERNAL Permitted cattle and horses arc making their annual an-nual trek from the high altitude grazing lands of the Ashley National Forest to the lower elevation ele-vation privately-owned pastures and grazing service lands, according ac-cording to forest supervisor Ona A. Harrison. Despite the fact that vegeta-tional vegeta-tional growth was late and the volume of forage was below normal, the frequent rains which have occurcd on the forest this summer did -much to improve forage conditions during the lat-ter lat-ter part of the season.
