Show State Field Man For Solid Fuel Visits Here B. K. Farnsworth, fieldman for Solid Fuel administration of the state, spent several days in the Uintah Basin this week, making a survey of coal storage and trucking problems. Mr. Farnsworth, suggests that some one of the civic clubs make a complete survey of the city in an effort to determine the winter demands. He feels.that some one should be induced to put in a coal storage shed in Roosevelt, in order to supply the demand of the city and its trade area, as the OPA has closed down the Coal mines in Ashley Valley which will tax the truckers of coal from Carbon county to the limit. Mr. Farnsworth will be back in Roosevelt the first part of next week. |
