J Mr. Beebe accompanied them to j the AngustorralRanch at Steam-j boat Springs, Colorado to attend the Field and Sale Days Aug. 18 and 19. p Mr. and Mrs. Warren Beebe land -Pete Wall took a load of cattle to Salt Lake City, Sunday. They returned home Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs; John Bergstrom and family were in Roosevelt Tuesday where the two oldest boys received medical treatment, one for a mastoid and the other for a broken arm. Mrs, Melissa Kofford and family, fam-ily, of Utahn, were Altonah visitors vis-itors Tuesday. Mrs. Albert ' Clark took her sons, Ned and Trent, to Roosevelt, Roose-velt, Tuesday, where Ned will i be operated on Friday for a I growth on his1 knee and Trent will undergo an operation for I hernia. I Mrs. Dallas Ames received word of the birth of a son, Aug. 7th to Mr. and Mrs! Maynard C. Agneu, of Brewster, Kansas. Mrs. Agneu, the former Grace Johanson, is Mrs. Ames' sister. Mr. and Mrs. Art Mohlman and family, of Salt Lake City, visited Mr. Mohlman's parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Mohlman, and his brothers, Glen and Fer-rell, Fer-rell, last week. Mrs. Dclbert Shiner returned Tuesday from Salt Lake City, where she has been staying with her daughter, Mrs. Jean Fisher, who has been in a hospital there for some time. Mrs. Fisher has been released from the hospital and is expected to return home soon. . Mr. and Mrs. George Carroll announce the arrival of a baby girl, born August 11th in the Roosevelt hospital. Clarence Smith spent the weekend in Duchesne with his son-in-law and daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Arvel Stone, and then went on to St. George for a few days. The Wolfe Creek bus has begun be-gun operating between Altonah and Salt Lake City once a week, leaving Altonah Sundays at 2:35 p. m. and leaving Salt Lake at 1:00 p. m. Saturdays. |
