Show IViontwel Tells .t Plans For Labor Day Celebration Living up to its reputation for staging Labor Day celebrations, Montwcl is rounding out an event this year which promises to surpass all previous performances. per-formances. The celebration committee com-mittee Is finishing off a program, pro-gram, "chuck full" of activity, and the word from Montwel is that the "works will be ready come Labor Day." Adver-tising. Beth Brown; Races and Novelties, George Hunt; Police and Public Address System, Vic Brown; Parade, Maurei Taylor. Dan Pace is the celebration secretary, sec-retary, "Our committee has functioned function-ed like Spartans," Chairman Ray Brown commented Thursday. "Work and plenty of it has gone into thc planning for our annual show, and I am certain that the results of this planning will be in evidence on September 1. At Montwel w?'ve built a reputation reputa-tion for putting on celebrations, and we are not going to lose that reputation this year." ' Five hundred dollars in prizes will go to winners of the rodeo events, which Include; saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, calf roping, steer riding and Brahma bull riding.
