Show w . i M. I. A. MUSIC FESTIVAL Mutual closed for the summer season with a music, drama and dance festival conducted at the Roosevelt ward hall on Tuesday evening. The students presented an outstanding program as follows: fol-lows: choral numbers , by the Junior . Girls' chorus; songs by a trio composed of Danny Beel-er, Beel-er, Eldon Winterton and Allen Smith; piano solo by Dale Larson; Lar-son; vocal solo by Ray Johnston; a one-act play by the Beehive Girls under the direction of Mrs. Clifton Laris; vocal solos by Donna Rae Labrum; songs by a double trio composed of Marilyn Lambert, Gertrude Page, Donna Rae Labrum, Alice Todd, Velma Todd and Sarah Colton. A feature of the evening was the lovely floor show presented by the first and second year Beehive Bee-hive Girls under the direction of Mrs. E. J. Nixon. Dancing and refreshments completed the evening's eve-ning's festivities. Jack Detomasi and Mrs. Barr and son of Provo, former res- idents of Roosevelt, were in J town Sunday looking after their property interests. I |
