Mr. and Mrs. Chester Hart-man Hart-man were in Salt Lake City over the week end. Mrs. Hartman bought some shrubs and plants for the church grounds. Mr. and Mrs. LaForge Dastrup ipent the last few days of the week in Ephriam visiting with Mrs. Dastrup's folks. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Wilcox are the proud parents of a baby boy. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Chapman spent Sunday in Mt. Emmons visiting with relatives. Mrs. Vista Wall left Sunday for a two weeks vacation in California. Cali-fornia. She met her mother, Mrs. S. E. Atwood in Salt Lake and from there they traveled to San Janquinto, California where the will spend a week, then go on to Mexico for a few days. Mrs. Allen Cook formerly of Mt. Emmons has now moved to Idaho after visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Volney Boswell. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Dastrup visited last week at the home of her parent's, Mr. and Mrs. Bench of Duchesne. A party for the teen-agers was held at the Mt. Emmons ward hall last Friday night. Games were played and hambergers and ice cream was served. Mrs. Fred Carroll and daughter, daught-er, Bernice, and Mrs. Williams of Upalco spent Sunday afternoon after-noon visiting at the home of Mrs. George Rogers. Raymond Lister returned from Price for a few days visit. Melvin Foot came with him to visit with his wife who is staying at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Lister. Word has been received that Erwin Rust is in Salt Lake and will be home soon. Primary Conference was held at the Mt. Emmons Ward Sunday Sun-day night. A nice program was presented. Arnold Powell is working for Vern Hansen and is now herding sheep east of Roosevelt. Miss Ella Rogers, Colleen Orr, Leona Titcomb and Devon Atwood At-wood were dinner guests of Norma Nor-ma and LaRae Wall last Sunday. . Mr. and Mrs. Glen Ames were in Roosevelt last Saturday transacting trans-acting business. Anthon Rust has received his discharge from the army xt W has, been received that Neal Titcomb is now in San Fran-C1?fu Fran-C1?fu ' tfter spending ten months with the occupation forces in Japan. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Lukas are now living in the Austin Tay-lor Tay-lor house. |
