Show Republicans Elect Geo. E. Stewart To Head County Group Republicans from 7 precincts in Duchesne county met at the GOP county convention at Duchesne, Du-chesne, Saturday, May 4, and elected George Stewart, Roosevelt Roos-evelt attorney, their chairman for the ensuing year. Fern Moffat, Mof-fat, incumbent chairwoman was re-elected and a new secretary-treasurer, secretary-treasurer, Ronald Page, was named. nam-ed. The election of Stewart and Paga fills two of the important posts in the county Republican ranks with returned veterans. Called to phoose delegates and alternates to the State Republican Republic-an convention, as well as principal princi-pal officers, the Duchesne Republicans Repub-licans named the following as delegates: George Stewart, Fern Moffat, Enid Sorenson, Victor H. Wathen, Earl Dillman, Leand-ra Leand-ra Gilbert, Rulon Larsen, Henry Wathen, Leo Bond, H. T. Hall, A. B. Madsen, Roy Eliason, Ray Dillman, Horace Allred, Helen Mott, Sam Page and Edna Peterson. Pet-erson.
