The reduction in output for which farmers have been waiting reflects both strikes within the farm equipment industry and curtailments caused by strikes within other industries supply lnz basic raw materials and compon' ent parts. The lost farm equipment production pro-duction that has resulted from strikes it was said, "will have a noticeable effect upon the food production of the nation." |
