Show Scout Camp-O-Ree Set For April 5-6 At New Camp Site The Roosevelt District Camp-o-ree, an annual event for Boy Scouts of the local district will be held this year commencing Friday evening, April 5, at 5:00 p. m. and continuing through Saturday, Sat-urday, announces Paul Murphy, District Scout commissioner. In setting the date of the Camp-o-ree Commissioner Murphy issued the following information, "Friday night and all day Saturday, April 5 and 6 are the dates. The camp site has been selected-and is located lo-cated six miles below Myton on the Duchesne river. This is a good camp spot with plenty of wood, water and new mountains to climb. We will leave homo right after school with each trooo furnishing its own transportation. trans-portation. The following schedule will be observed:" 5 p. m. to 6 p. m. Check in at camp. 6 to 7 make camp. 7 to 8 supper by patrols (camp by patrols). 8 to 9 Court of Honor, Court Chairman Hallls in charge. 9 to 10 Games and campfire songs. 10 p. m. All In bed and QUIET PLEASE. Saturday: 7 a. m. Revielle, Troop 260, Ft. Duchesne to present colors, followed by scavanger hunt by patrols. Big treasure as reward. 8 to 9 Breakfast. 9 to 9:30 Clean up your camp for inspection. 9:30 to 10 Inspection, member mem-ber from each troop to serve on inspection board. 10 to 11 Contests between troops as follows: 1. Make fire without matches. 2. Tenderfoot Scouts make fire with two matches and burn string. 3. Wood chopping relay. 4. First aid. 5. Knot tying relay. 6. Pancake cooking contest. 11 to 12 Free period. 12 to 1:30 Lunch. 1:30 to 2:30 Troop demonstrations demonstra-tions in the following: 1. Reflector-over'?. Roosevelt. 2. Rope making, Ballard. 3. Tpnt makine. Randlett. 4. Water-proofing cloth. 5. Pack making, Neola. 6. Blazing trail to camp site, Myton. General Information: Bring sleeping bag or plenty of bedding. Water-proof ground cloth. Axe and shovel. Food for three (3) meals. You know, a Scout is HUNGRY. Tents or canvas for shelter. Tin cans or cooking utensils, etc. First aid equipment.
