Show Phenomenal Crops May Be Produced By "Master Cell" In the State of Massachusetts, a farmer, John Brown, claims to have discovered a "master cell," which will produce phe-nomin'al phe-nomin'al crops and be effective in combating poultry and cattle diseases. Following an announcement by Mr. Brown, hundreds of visitors visi-tors overran his farm and endangered en-dangered his crops. Police fin- ally roped off a space, barring admittance to all but farmers, The man says that he has been I "deluged" with mail from nearly 'every state. He says that a collodial solution, containing "master cells," was put in a porous cement mattrix. Dr. Joseph Seiberlich, bacteriologist bacter-iologist of the University of New Hampshire, who studied the method, says that it is apparently apparent-ly new and has great promise" but needs further experimentation experimenta-tion under rigid state and Federal Feder-al controls. |
