Show 4-H C9ub News DIZZY DARNERS The weekly meeting of the Randlctt Dizzy Darners 4-H club was held at the home of Leah Pickup. President Elva Mae Chandler conducted. Health demonstrations dem-onstrations were given by Veda Wall, Beatrice Chandler and Grace McMullin. The remainder of the afternoon was spent working work-ing on sewing projects. FANCY FIXERS The Farm Creek Fancy Fixers 4-H club held its third meeting at the home of Margie Robb. A very enjoyable afternoon was spent making puddings. j Dorothy Hansen attended as a visitor. Our fourth meeting was held at the home of Patsy Cloward. We all packed lunches and went on a swimming party. Even tho we had car trouble before we got' back, we enjoyed the afternoon. Our next meeting will be held at the home of Dona Christcnsen. STITCH IN TIME CLUB The sixth meeting of the Ft. Duchesne Stitch In Time 4-H club was held at 2 p. m. June 7 at the home of Mrs. Gutzman, our . leader, with the meeting called to order by President Af-ton Af-ton Bodily. Minutes were read by Marilynn Anderson, sec. Most of the girls have finished their hot pads or scarfs, so we cut out our aprons. We have many colorful prints and original origi-nal ideas that should make the aprons very interesting when finished. . Jeanne Jensen, Reporter THE HOPELESS HOPEFULS The opening meeting of the Arcadia Hopless Hopefuls 4-H club was held July 2 at the home of Leader Fern Zirker. Officers' were elected as follows: president, presi-dent, Evelyn Gilbert; vice president, presi-dent, Syvilla Johnson; secretary-treasurer, secretary-treasurer, June Larsen; reporter, Betty Holgate.' The other club members are Lurrine and Deon Bird and Bonnie and Shirley Zirker. Our class project is building our dream home. Our personal project is filling our "hope chests. At the close of the meeting sherbet, cookies and punch was served by Mrs, Zirker, Our second meeting was held at the home of Evelyn and Naomi Na-omi Gilbert. A very- interesting lesson was given by Bonnie Zirker. Zir-ker. Useful facts on the selection selec-tion and buying of large electrical electri-cal appliances was given. The remaining time was spent working work-ing on our personal projects. Delicious cake and punch was served by the hostesses. The next meeting will be held at the home of Lurrine and Deon Bird.
