Show Utah Pioneer Sons Plan Encampment Men from all parts of the state who are descendants of pioneers pi-oneers who' came to Utah before the coming of the railroad, May 10. 1869, will gather Saturday, July 31, at Logan for the annual cnacmpment of the Sons of Utah Pioneers. Each S.U.P. chapter will send delegates and alternates. Registration Regis-tration will be held at the Logan Log-an Tabernacle at 11 a. m.. followed fol-lowed by a noon luncheon at the Bluebird Cafe for S.U.P. members mem-bers and their wives. State officers for the coming year will be elected at a business busi-ness meeting to be held at 1 p. m. in the basement of the tabernacle. taber-nacle. At 3 p. m., delegates, visitors vis-itors and members of S.U.P. chapters will tour northern Cache. Valley. A banquet for members, visitors and their wives will be held at 7 p. m, in the U.S.A.C. college cafeteria in the home economics building on the colleg'e hill. A pioneer dance revue in the Logan senior high school gymnasium gym-nasium is scheduled for 9 p. m. There will be old fashioned dantes by the Logan old-time danee club, the Cache Valley square dancers and dance clubs from Ogden, Brigham and Preston. |
