Show I I i FOUNTAIN GREEN I I By Spechil Correspondence Miss Rozella Anderson entertained at an elaborate diner party in honor of her birthday Friday November 2nd. The invited guests were Mr. and Mrs. George E. Coombs and children, Mrs. Andrew Anderson and children, Mrs. W. R. Jensen and children, Mrs. Olof Olsen, Mrs. John Snow, Mrs. Ole Allred Mrs. Clark Cook, and Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Anderson. Games were played and radio music was enjoyed. The Gayety Club members held a Haljowen party at the home of Mr. and Mrs James Johnson Tuesday October 30th. The guests were dressed in Halloween Hal-loween ghost costumes. The decorations decora-tions and refreshments were suggestive of Haloween. The following were lnvit ed, Mr. and Mrs. Abe Madson, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Mower, Mrs. Orville. Johnson, Mrs. Clarence Johnson, Mrs. Evan Bigler, Mrs. Lee Oldroyd, Mrs. Delbert Christiansen. Special guests were Mrs. Lotie Bills, Hyrum Hanson, and Mrs. Davis of PocateUa, Idaho. Interesting games were played. Mrs. Dewey Johnson entertained at a quilting Monday afternoon. The following fol-lowing were present, Mrs. N. M. Jensen, Jen-sen, Mrs. J. H. Mikkeison, Mrs. Osmond Crowther, Mrs. Peter Anderson, Mrs. Sarah A. Anderson, Mrs. John Snow, Mrs. Caroline Hansen. Mrs. Wallie Bar-entson, Bar-entson, Mrs. A. G. Anderson, Mrs. June Collard, Miss Geneva Crowther. An elaborate supper was served. Miss Macel Robertson entertained the following at a Halloween party Friday night, Eva Llewellyn, Winifred Cook, Cleah Robertson, Millie Peterson, Delia Robertson, Bertha Mikkeison Art Franter, LaVar Carter, L. P. Jones, and Mr. Vernon of Nephi. After playing play-ing games and enjoying a delicious luncheon the guests motored to Mt. Pleasant where they attended a Halloween Hallo-ween dance. Mr. and Mrs. George W. Ivory, Mr. and Mrs. Royal Ivory, Mr. and Mrs. Clarl Ivory, Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Oldroyd motored to Salt Lake last Friday where they attended the wedding reception for Mr. and Mrs J. A. McDonald at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Oldroyd. Mrs. George W. Ivory has returned from Salt Lake after a two weeks visit with her daughters, Mrs. J. F. Livingston Livings-ton and Mrs. J. T. Oldroyd. Mrs. L. P. Madsen of Mt. Pleasant has been visiting here at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L. R. Ivory. Reed Collard returned Monday from Canada where he has filled a two years mission. Mrs. Clint Oldroyd entertained the Sorosis Club memoers at a Halloween party at her home Wednesday night. Clever Halloween decorations were used and a Halloween witch who told fortunes was the special attraction of the evening. The following members and husbands were present, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Jensen, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Carter, Mr. and Mrs. George C. Anderson, Ander-son, Mr. and Mrs. Farrel Hansen, Mrs. Jim Guymon, Mrs. W. R. Jensen, Mrs. R. V. Anderson, Mrs. Frank Samuels, and Rozella Anderson. Refreshments were served. Mrs. Virgil Jacobson was hostess to the members of G. B. Club at her home Thursday. The afternoon was spent in sewing. A dainty luncheon was served. |
