Don't fail to see it and remember the date. Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Anderson wei? called to Idaho Falls last week on account ac-count of the illness of their daughter, Mrs. George Hess. Mrs. William Olsen who has been suffering from a severe illness for the past six weeks is reported improving slowly. The Republican ladies held a rally Thursday afternoon of last week. The speakers were Mrs. Leflie of Mantl and Mr. Richards of Salt Lake City. Refreshments Re-freshments were served. In connection with the picture show Thursday evening of last week a Democratic Dem-ocratic rally was held in the Kozy Theatre. Parley Hansen of Mt. Pleasant, Pleas-ant, Andrew Hansen ofEphriam and Judge George Christensen of Price, were the speakers. The Sorosis Club held their regular meeting Thursday afternoon at 2 o' clock. Mrs. Blaine Draper and Mrs. Ellis Draper were the hostesses. Refreshments Re-freshments were served to the following members, Mrs. E. D. Anderson, Mrs. Cleon Anderson, Mrs. Marvin Anderson, Mrs. Russell Bailey, Mrs. Emerson Blackham, Mrs. Lewis Blackham, Mrs. Earnest Blackham, Mrs. Mert Draper, Mrs. Elmo Irons, Mrs. Bill Jensen, Mrs Morgan Lamb, Mrs. Mozart Larsen, Mrs. Ophelia Rhodes, and Mrs. E. W. Stucki. Mrs. Helena Hansen left Friday for McGill, Nevada to join her husband who has employment there. Miss Ada Faux is a Salt Lake visitor this week. Miss Winnie Nelson entertained at her home Thursday evening. The game of Five Hundred was played. Mrs. Ross Madsen of Ft. Green received receiv-ed the first prize" and Sarah Kellett received the consolation prize. Refreshments Re-freshments were served to the following guests. Mrs. Ross Madsen and Mrs. Clark Ivory of Fountain Green, Mrs. Lenard Anderson, Mrs. John Anderson, Mrs. Mozell Hansen, Mrs. George Jensen, Miss Sarah Kellett, Miss Billie Bean, Miss Connie Larsen, Miss Ordell Hogen, and Miss Alice Bruner. Mr. snd Mrs. Edwin Nielsen have gone to Garfield to reside for the winter. win-ter. Monday night in connection with the picture show a Republican rally was held. The speakers were Mr. Stewart of Salt Lake City, and Judge Dilworth Wooley of Manti. Mrs. Earnest Anderson and Miss Grace Blackham rendered solos. Troop No. 1 of the Boy Scouts of the East Ward had a chicken stew at the scout rooms in the Lincoln School house Tuesday evening. One hundred per cent of the Scouts were present. Bishop Elmo Irons and Mr. John R. Elackham were special guests. Games and stunts were enjoyed by all present. |
