Show Candland Leads In Texas Sale -Earl H. Seely, William C. Olsen and R. W. Candland have just returned re-turned from a ram sale held August Aug-ust 1st at Brady, Texas, at which 1,500 rams were sold. Mr. Candland reports that the highest priced ram sold was a Polled Rambouillet from the Branch Agricultural College. The highest price paid for a ewe was sold by Mr. Candland. It was also a Rambouillet. W D. Candland & Sons sent about one hundred sheep to this sale most of them being rams. Mr. Seely had a car of rams and Mr. Olsen had a car of rams for John K. Madsen. . Owing to the serious drought m Texas prices were not as strong as 'it 'was expected, but the entire 1,500 rams were sold. |
