Show Board of Education Urges Health Examinations The Board of Education of the North Sanpete School District is very anxious that all children entering en-tering the first grade this year will have been examined by the local physicians at the clinics held in the different school centers this summer. Clinics for the examination of these children have already been held in most communities of the district. It is hoped that other clinics can be held and that parents par-ents will avail themselves of the opportunity of seeing that their children are carefully examined. It has been demonstrated numerous num-erous times that a healthy child makes much better progress in school than does the child who suffers suf-fers from some bodily ailment oi defect The clinics are conducted under the direction of the local Health Centers, who are entitled to much credit for the excellent work they are doing. Remember that the clinics are free and that your child is entitled to his chance for health. A. E. Jones, Superintendent-. |
