Show I I MORONI ! By Special Correspondence i Miss Jessie Davis, Jack Davis and Mrs. Al Loveless of Provo were guests last week of Mr. and Mrs. James Hardy. Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Olsen oi Magna were visiting relatives and friends in Moroni last weekend. Born to Mr. and Mrs. Lees Syme a baby girl at the Dice hospital on June 5th. Miss Sarah Kellett is teaching a six weeKs kindergarten course for children from four to six years. Mrs. Sena Curtis has gone to Magna and Salt Lake City ot visit her children. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Bell of Eur-3ka Eur-3ka were Moroni visitors last week. Mr. and Mrs. John Olsen announce an-nounce the arrival of a baby girl at their home June 4th. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Souby and ion Ernest of Garfield and Mrs. George Malby of Nephi were guests if Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Lamb last Sunday. Mrs. Elden Van Buren of Orange -ville is the guest this week of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Hansen. Han-sen. The Daughters of the Pioneers held their monthly meeting Friday afternoon. Mrs. Orlando Bradley was in charge of the program which included musical numbers 'jiven by her daughters and granddaughters grand-daughters frcm Nephi and Spanish Span-ish Fork; also a biographical sketch :i the life of her mother, Mrs. Mary Howarth Draper. Mr. and Mrs. Reid Hardy of Denver, Colorado and Bernus Hardy Har-dy of Laramie, Wyoming, are guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Hardy. The M. I. A. of the East ward save a musical program Tuesday evening, consisting of the following numers; two selections from the junior orchestra; prayer. Bishop Elmo Irons; vocal solo, William Swensen; vocal solo, Gerald Bradley; Brad-ley; organ solo, Vivian Anderson: girls chorus, Stella Tidwell and company; selection, orchestra; solo, Grace Blackham; vocal duet, Mrs. P. J. Draper Jr. and Mrs. Elmo Irons; selection, orchestra; prayer, John R. Blackham. Mr. and Mrs. Cleon Anderson and the Misses Vivian Anderson and Gwen Blackham attended funeral services for Charles S. Dorius of Ephraim Friday. Burr, the two year old son of Ed Frandsen passed away at the family home Wednesday morning after a brief illness. Besides his parents he is survived by the following fol-lowing brothers and sisters: Billie, Jay, Clara and Kathelene Frandsen, Frand-sen, all of Moroni. |
