Show Peach Day at Brigham City Brigham City, August 20 A remote control Peach Day Celebration program pro-gram will be broadcasted from this ci:y over K. S. L. immediately after parade and pageant of the first morning morn-ing of the festival scheduled to be held in this city Friday and Saturday, September 13th and 14th next, thro which the radio world will be entertained enter-tained and tcld about the unique carnival carn-ival holiday wnich has annually done homage to the luscious peach of this mountain section for twenty-fou years, as well as of the salient features fea-tures of this part of the State of Utah. Governor George H. Dern will be a -pedal guest on that day and will ad- drcos the people assembled for the program at the community center frcm a rostrum erected in front of the horticulture exhibits which flank the court house, upon which will be stationed the microphones for transmitting trans-mitting the program over a telephone circuit to the powerful transmitting station of the K. S. L. Broadcasting Company at Salt Lake. John W. Peters, President of the Box Elder Commercial Club and Cham ber of Commerce, and chairman of the executive committee for the silver anniversary of the celebration, will be master ot ceremonies and conduct the program broadcast. He will acquaint ac-quaint the thousands of radio land with the outsanding and characteristic character-istic features of the locality. An unusual musical pragram is being be-ing arranged for the broadcast by tho local committee, which will include stirring band numbers by the best bands of the State in addition to other oth-er insrumental offerings and vocal selections se-lections of unusual merit. The microphones will be arranged to catch the applause and the other joyous and enervating sounds which emenate from a carnival celebration and to carry those suggestions of merrymaking mer-rymaking to the mid-day listeners everywhere. ev-erywhere.
